Kristen Stewart: An Exhaustive Examination
On the Road (2012)
Marylou is chill 16 year old bride who knows how to roll her own joints. She’s married to Dean, an adult man, who apparently taught her how to roll joints. One day, Dean leaves for Denver and takes a mistress. A year or so later, she’s still kind of with Dean, and travels with him to visit their friend Sal for Thanksgiving in North Carolina. Soon they’re all on the road together, heading to New York City to ring in the new year of 1949. Around this time, Marylou hooks with Sal, but everyone’s cool with it as Dean is pretty clearly into open relationships. Marylou, Dean, and Sal hit the road once more, this time bound for San Francisco – with a short detour to return a husband to his wife on Louisiana. As they head west, Marylou worries Dean will leave her once they arrive in San Francisco. She also reveals her desire to settle down and have a child, which she may do with her fiancé back in Denver. Dean does totally immediately take off as soon they arrive in San Francisco, and after sharing a hotel room with Sal, Marylou declares that being on the road is no longer for her and heads to Denver to start fresh and marry her sailor fiancé.
Join co-hosts Vanessa and Toben as they journey through an actor’s filmography, in chronological order, in an effort to definitively determine – using a refined academic and scientific process – that actor’s best movie.
Their quest began in Volume 1 with one of the most pressing cinematic questions of our time: what’s the best Blake Lively movie?
In Volume 2, Vanessa and Toben seek out the best Kristen Stewart movie.
